Our Journey
The Foundation might have officially come alive only recently but it has existed in the hearts of the Trustees for more than 20 years. Samarth India Foundation is the manifestation of a dream seen by some passionate young people two decades ago about the ideal they believed our world could reach.
Travelling through different paths in their careers, all of them practiced sincerity, honesty and transparency in Public Service. They shared the same dream of a world where dignity of life could be protected at all costs through equality and justice. A place where all people could live their best lives together in harmony.
Finally, these dreamers and visionaries decided to come together with the spirit of taking action and changing the world themselves one step at a time.

To create a ‘Samarth India’ where education, equality and empowerment are not just words on paper but a lived experience for every Indian and where people are empowered to change their own individual worlds for the better to see a positive shift in the entirety.
Our Mission
For us, ‘Samarth India’ is both a clarion call and a mission. It’s a call to millions of Indians who are now ‘Samarth’ enough to think beyond themselves and it’s a mission ‘To Create a Million More Samarth Indians’.
With this in mind, the organization is empowering people with education and awareness of what they can do to create an equitable and peaceful society for themselves and others.
The organization is moving forward with the spirit of taking action to create an ecosystem that encourages the shift towards the ideal world envisioned by so many of us…..a world with no divide, discrimination, hunger, helplessness, poverty and illiteracy.

Objectives
- To empower people through education and awareness for creation of a society that allows all persons with equal opportunities and resources
- To create awareness and provide learning modules to understand sexual harassment and Prevention of Sexual Harassment (PoSH)
- To contribute to making all organizations PoSH compliant
- To spread information about the misuse of the PoSH Act and its harmful effects on women empowerment
- To mobilise the masses for the vision of gender sensitivity and equity and their importance for the growth of our world
- To spark conversations about diversity and the diverse people, the importance of including all people regardless of how different they are and creating an equal society
- To work for the upliftment of the underprivileged by addressing poverty, hunger and lack of education, health and hygiene to bring them into the mainstream
